Kharon Chapter 48

       Back in the The Colony Simone stands with Emma and Jacob before the eight throned individuals as they say in unison, “We find all three of you guilty of sedition against The Colony and therefore based on your standings level against you the most severe of penalties…excommunication.”  The crowd gasps at this pronouncement.

        Emma smiles.  “That’s great! Now your finally free from this place.”

        Simone frowns and shakes her head.  “No one ever leaves The Colony.”

        “But…” Before Emma can finish speaking everyone around her goes grey.  Then everything fades to white.  She is alone in a empty white space that goes on forever.  A nothingness is now her home.  She is all alone as she cries out, “NO!!!”  She collapses to her knees and begins whimpering, "Not again...please not again."  Suddenly she awakes in a pod.  She spits out her feeding tube and rips out her IV and sensors.  She looks around and sees Luke standing over her.  Before she can even think she jumps up and gives him a hug.  Luke is caught off guard by this and doesn’t know how to react.  Emma pulls away from him and says, “Let’s get the others.”
